KYLIE Minogue 'snogs' her former brother-in-law Julian McMahon in her new movie.
The singer's younger sister Dannii, 46, was married to the actor for 18 months from 1994 until 1995.
But despite their marriage not working out, Kylie and Julian had no qualms about working together more than 20 years later on their new movie, Swinging Safari.
Speaking to the Herald Sun newspaper, Julian, 49, opened up about what it was like to smack the lips on his ex-sister-in-law in the film, which is about three bored suburban couples who try partner-swapping.
He said: "That was an impromptu moment.
"[Director] Steph [Elliott] said ‘Do what you want, Julian!’ and I thought, ‘Bugger it, I’ll get up and snog my ex sister-in-law’."
Pulling a horrified face, Julian added: "She had this great reaction, like she was being attacked by some kind of creature. It was very funny”.
Julian met Dannii in 1991 on the set of Australian soap Home and Away.
The couple married in January 1994 but less than two years later, they had divorced, but Julian insists he didn't feel awkward around Kylie, 49.
He said: "Oh look, I never had any weirdness to be honest.
"First, it feels like another lifetime ago, so it’s hard to relate to it completely.
“But Dannii and I loved each other — the relationship didn’t work but we had an incredible relationship when we had it.
"And Kylie was an amazing sister-in-law. She sung at our wedding and that was pretty fricking special.
“The sad thing is that it didn’t last ... it’s just what happened, you know.
