A DIY enthusiast has shared how she gave her old and rusty shower drain an instant makeover with one $15 product.
Erin, from Sydney, better known as 'Plants Happen' online, transformed her rust-ridden drain with Rust-Oleum Primer and Paint spray from Bunnings.
To do she simply stuck a ring of duct tape to the base of her shower and around the surrounding area of the drain.

Erin then sprayed the black matte primer and paint directly onto the drain and made sure to cover the rusted surface area.
She left the matte paint to dry and removed the duct tape to reveal her new rust-free shower drain.
'I know my whole bathroom needs a re-do, I'm doing quick fixes before I update it next year,' Erin said in her TikTok video that received more than one million views.

Bar Keepers Friend is a cleanser and polish in one that can be used to clean tough surface areas and items of the home.

The mum suggests that when you are using the cleanser to apply the powder with a wet cloth or sponge.
She then says to sprinkle the Bar Keepers Friend onto a rusty surface area 'at close range' to create a cleansing paste.
The cleanser can be used on chrome, stainless steel, porcelain, tile, ceramic and fiberglass surfaces, which makes it perfect to use in rooms around the house.
